One of the most powerful benefits of the Morse Code portal is the Insights Dashboard. The Insights Dashboard streamlines your Amazon Connect expenditures across all environments, allowing you to efficiently view and manage your contact center budget.
When you log into your Morse Code portal and reach the , you will see an overview of the billing insights. This can be found in the bottom, right corner of the screen and displays your total expenditure and minutes used for the month.
There are two ways to reach the Insights Dashboard and view your billing insights in more detail. You can either click on the "INSIGHTS" button at the top of the page or on the "VIEW ALL" button in the top right corner of the insights overview.
Once you have reached the Insights Dashboard, you'll be able to view a breakdown of your Amazon Connect billing and usage details split up into sections by:
Total number of tickets
Total number of instances
Total number of instances by region
Total amount of Amazon Connect expenditures for the year
The first part of the dashboard shows you the total number of support tickets that have been submitted. You'll see a breakdown of the tickets by the percentage, as well as the total number of:
Completed tickets
Open tickets
Tickets that are currently in progress
View your total number of instances that is broken down by the number and percentage of:
Managed instances
Unmanaged instances
Pending instances
This section provides you with a breakdown of the number of Amazon Connect instances by each region that they are located in.
At the bottom of the dashboard, you'll find your Amazon Connect Total Spending. This graph provides a breakdown of your total expenses, within Connect, for the year.
In the top right corner of this section, there are filters that will allow you to take a more granular look at your spending. This gives you the option to:
View all account spending or filter by a specific account
Filter by year
Filter by month
Filter by week
The data on the Insights Dashboard is updated on the 1st, 8th, 15th, and 21st of each month that expenses are billed.
